The Going Out for Health programme consists of a comprehensive overview of the various aspects for the appropriate design, renovation and management of green spaces to achieve a healthy and quality living environment.
The result of the programme is a handbook that substantiates the importance and possibilities of integrating spatial planning and public health, and comprehensively presents the relevant aspects of designing appropriate and attractive green spaces for the active use of the outdoor space of cities and settlements. The programme is co-funded by the Ministry of Health and is part of the "Dober tek Slovenia" effort for more exercise and healthier eating.
The purpose of the roundtable is to present in more detail the expert aspects addressed by the manual and to exchange views and opinions on how it can be used in spatial planning that promotes healthy lifestyles.
